Vasish Ramkhalawon - Director
Vasish Ramkhalawon is the Executive Director of the MCCI Foundation and a qualified business and management consultant, holding a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Hull, U.K, a Bachelor of Engineering from NIT, India, a Certificate in Operations from the World Bank and a Certificate in User Charges, Policies and Negotiation Skills from International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and The Airports Council International (ACI). He has followed several training in Financial Management, Safeguards, Procurement, Development PolicyOperations, Investment Operations, Information Security and Bank Operations from World Bank and several other professional training in Corporate Finance,Project Management, Communication, Marketing and Business Development,Influence and Negotiation Skills, Organisational Behaviour, Job Profiling and Evaluation, Directorship and Leadership from other renowned institutions.
He has served as the World Bank Country Operations Officer for Mauritius and Seychelles where he was involved on Development Policy Operations and Investment Operations to raise efficiency of the public sector and support private sector competitiveness. In addition he was involved on a number of just-in-time technical and analytical support and knowledge products on a variety of issues and sectors including business regulation, SMEs, trade competitiveness, tertiary education, research and innovation, social protection, ICT, civil service reforms, state owned enterprises, transport, water, energy, governance, M&E, education and TVET, health, tourism, financial and PPPs.
Vasish has served several years as a BA and MBA lecturer for Heriot Watt University(UK) and Huddersfield University (UK) in Mauritius and as a business and management consultant where he has managed a wide gamut of activities in Mauritius, Africa and UK in Change Management, Strategic and Operations Management, Organisational Restructuring, Performance Management, Training and Skills Development, Investment Feasibility, Loss Adjusting, Operational Risk Analysis and Project Management for both the public and private sector. He was the head of the Commercial Operations,Development and Property Section and the Chairman of the Insurance and Risk Committee of Airports of Mauritius. He was also the Manager Business Development of Urban Infrastructure Capital Advisors – Mauritius, in alliance with Urban Infrastructure Venture Capital Ltd India (a subsidiary of Jai Corp Ltd). He was the General Manager of PolyExpert Mauritius Ltd which was part of the PolyExpert network of 400 experts in 95 offices in France, Europe and outerislands including Mauritius.
He is a registered Trainer with the Mauritius Qualifications Authority (MQA) on Management and Strategy. He was previously a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, U.S.A. (IEEE) for three years. He was the Vice President of the Association of Small Shareholders in all Listed Companies of the Stock Exchange of Mauritius for six years. He has participated in several conferences as a key member at national and international level. He is also the Past President of the Rotary Club and the President of a Social Organisation (Mouvement Unite Modernite).
Nisha Ramkhalawon - Executive Director
Nisha Ramkhalawon is responsible for all operational matters focusing on service level and client satisfaction. Nisha has around 10 years of experience in the financial service industry with particular focus on client relationship and administration for setting up and administrating offshore vehicles across various jurisdictions. She oversees all aspects of client's company's operation, set up, administration and secretarial services.
Prior to this position, Nisha held senior positions in administration and fiduciary functions in reputable international companies like Standard Bank, Kross Border Trust Services - the offshore branch of the reputable Big four KPMG, Orangefield Trust Mauritius Limited and Glamis Business School which is affiliated with Heriott Watt University in Edinburgh.The client base comprised both of offshore and domestic clients and she had the responsibility of servicing an extensive portfolio of institutional clients including High Net Worth Individuals, fund managers, lawyers and financial advisors.
Nisha is a graduate and also holds a Diploma in Journalism and Public Relations. She is very proactive and keeps abreast of all new developments inthe industry by frequently attending seminars and workshops. She is also certified by Mauritius Qualifications Authority for Training Needs Analysis. She has more than 13 years of professional experience both locally and overseas and she has extensive knowledge in different sectors such as property consulting, training, marketing, administration, secretarial, offshore business and client relations.
Sameer Foondun - Director
Sameer Foondun holds a BSc in Quantity Surveying from the South Bank University (UK) and has over 14 years of experience in the field. He has worked with 2 local consultancy firms providing Quantity Surveying and Project Management services; namely Hooloomann & Associates Ltd and V. D'Unienville & Associates Co. Ltd where he was involved on major commercial, leisure and hotel projectd evelopment. Sameer was also an Executive Director of KeFex Associates Ltd, which provided ProjectManagement and Quantity Surveying Services.
During his career, Sameer has served as project manager and quantity surveyor to IRS, RES, Hotel Development, Luxury Residential complex, Apartments, Villas, Commercial Projects and the Airports Terminal Operations Ltd (ATOL) on SSR Terminal Project.
Antish Beeharry – Director
Antish Beeharry is also a Partner at Aros Associates-Chartered Certified Accountants, which provides Accounting, Audit and Tax services. He holds a Master degree in Finance and Accounting (UK) and a degree in Business Administration (UK) with specialisation in Finance.
